The Fq16 conference will take place at the São Carlos campus of the University of São Paulo.

There are two main international airports you can travel to São Carlos from by bus or car:

  • Campinas Airport (VCP) (157 km from São Carlos) - Highly recommended.
  • Guarulhos Airport (GRU) (255 km from São Carlos)

Public transportation options are readily available between both airports and São Carlos:

From GRU – Guarulhos International Airport (São Paulo)

Option 1: Via São Paulo (Tietê Bus Station)

  • From GRU, take a bus or the airport train/metro to the Tietê Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário do Tietê).

  • From there, take a direct bus to São Carlos operated by Viação Cometa or Viação Piracicabana (formerly Empresa Cruz).

Option 2: Via Campinas

  • At GRU, take the Lirabus shuttle to the Campinas Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Campinas).

  • Then, take a direct bus to São Carlos with Viação Cometa or Viação Piracicabana.

From VCP – Viracopos Airport (Campinas)

🚐 Conference Shuttle:

 

The conference will provide bus transportation between both airports and São Carlos on July 6, 2025, and July 12, 2025.

The exact schedule will depend on the concentration of arrival and departure times.
